Meet Noah Alamat: Turning a Love of Film Into a Future in Filmmaking
For some people, movies are a way to pass the time. For Noah Alamat, they have been a source of inspiration for as long as he can remember.
As an intern at UnoDeuce Multimedia, Noah is getting the opportunity to explore the world of video production from a new perspective. After years of watching films, following media and immersing himself in storytelling, he is ready to learn more about what happens behind the camera and how those experiences can help him pursue his own creative ambitions.
A Passion for Film and Technology
Noah’s interest in film started early. Growing up, he spent plenty of time watching television and developed an appreciation for the stories that could unfold on a screen. Movie theaters became another important part of that interest, offering the chance to experience films as they were meant to be seen.
That passion has stayed with him. Noah makes a point of seeing what’s playing in theaters, taking in different stories, styles and approaches to filmmaking. But being a fan is only one part of the journey. Noah wants to move from watching the work of others to creating something of his own.
For him, multimedia offers an opportunity to combine creativity, technology and storytelling. His internship at UnoDeuce is a chance to start understanding that process firsthand.
Looking Toward the Future
Noah already has an idea of where he would like his interests to take him. In five years, he hopes to be growing an audience on social media, potentially through YouTube, and building a platform that can eventually help him make films.
“I see myself on the upswing of a social media following YouTube or something of that sort and growing an audience to eventually lead that towards making films.”
It is an ambitious goal, and Noah recognizes that reaching it will take time, experience and a willingness to keep learning. Building an audience can provide a way to share creative work, connect with viewers and develop a voice as a storyteller. For Noah, that possibility is part of a larger plan to turn his interest in film into a career.
His current internship is one step toward understanding the skills and collaboration required to make that happen.
Learning Beyond the Camera
While Noah is excited about the creative side of production, he also knows there is plenty to learn about the technical work that brings a finished video together.
One of his goals is to gain more experience in post-production. Editing and other post-production skills are important parts of the filmmaking process, and he sees the internship as an opportunity to become more familiar with that side of the work. Just as important is learning how to work with other people in a production environment.
“The biggest takeaway I can learn from this internship is how to work with others in this environment,” Noah explains.
Video production is a collaborative process. It takes communication, teamwork and an understanding of how different roles contribute to the final product. Learning to navigate that environment can help prepare Noah for future projects, whether he is working with a production team or developing films of his own.
By gaining hands-on experience and learning from the people around him, he can begin connecting his interests with the practical skills needed to pursue his goals.
A Nerd at Heart
Outside of video production, Noah embraces his interests as a self-described nerd.
Gaming is one of his favorite pastimes, and he enjoys playing Magic: The Gathering. The Kingdom Hearts video game series is especially meaningful to him. For Noah, the connection goes beyond gameplay. The series has influenced his outlook on life and helped shape who he is as a person.
That connection highlights another way storytelling can make an impact. Stories do not exist only in movies or television. They can also be found in video games, books and other creative experiences that connect with people in different ways.
Noah’s interest in these worlds reflects the enthusiasm he brings to media more broadly. He appreciates storytelling as an audience member while working toward the opportunity to create stories himself.

For Noah, the opportunity to intern at UnoDeuce Multimedia is a chance to explore the industry, build new skills and learn from an experienced team.
“I’m just excited to be here, excited to get a better understanding of how to do what you all do here,” he says.
That enthusiasm, paired with his interest in film and his willingness to learn, gives him a starting point for the next stage of his journey. The path toward filmmaking can take many forms. It can involve learning new technical skills, collaborating with others, experimenting with creative ideas and finding ways to share work with an audience.
Noah is beginning to explore those possibilities, one experience at a time. His long-term goal is to make films. For now, he is focused on learning how the process works, discovering where his strengths can grow and making the most of the opportunity in front of him.
